OUTDOOR FESTIVAL!
Brief History:
This year’s Salmon Celebration is our 19th annual event to showcase Native Culture. Guest can enjoy a traditional salmon bake, native drumming, dancers, canoe races, cultural booths and displays, hands on family activities, native arts & crafts vendors and more will be highlighted at this free family friendly event.

How it Works:
The traditional salmon bake meal will be served from 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM Saturday, September 14, and 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM Sunday, September 15:

Vendor booths, free entertainment and hands-on cultural demonstrations will be open from 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM Saturday, September 14 and from 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM Sunday, September 15.

From jams and jellies to baked goods, candy and wine; it’s all about the Blackberry. The festival hosts over 100 artists, artisans and vendors. So bring the entire family. Whether you are planning for the family’s first visit or you are a fair regular, experience a clean, safe fun day where all entertainment from national to local is FREE with your gate admission. Along with all the many friendly people, there is a fantastic midway featuring rides provided by Rainier Amusements, as well as great fair food vendors, commercial vendors and livestock.

UVA is proud to present our Annual Summer Arts Festival. Situated in Roseburg’s beautiful Fir Grove Park, the festival celebrates the Land of Umpqua’s abundant creative talent, and attracts thousands of visitors each day.

Summer Arts Festival hosts over 100 artist vendors in all media, includes a Youth Zone, features live music and entertainment on two stages, highlights the Pacific Northwest culinary arts and craft beverages–and so much more.

The BBQ Competition will be backyard style BBQ with over $12,000 in cash prizes. Tickets are limited and will sell out quick! There are 15 teams this year!! Be prepared to stuff your face with the best BBQ around!

Join the Empire celebration of the history, the clams, the culture, and the future of our area. Venues include the Fire Hall, the Hollering Place, Ed Lund Park, the Tribal House of the Coos, Lower Umpqua and Siuslaw tribes, and the downtown area along Newmark Avenue. Always the second Saturday in June.
