Celebrate Community and the Magic of Ashland’s at the Earth Day A Street Block Party

Ashland, OR – On Tuesday, April 22, 2025, the historic part of Ashland will come alive with

music, food, and community spirit at the Earth Day A Street Block Party from 4:00 PM to

7:30 PM. This lively outdoor celebration organized by Karolina Lavagnino of Wild Thyme

Productions invites locals and visitors alike to connect, support small businesses, and embrace an active, sustainable lifestyle—all while enjoying the abundance of talent and unique flavors of the region.

A Celebration of Local Talent & Entertainment

Live music will set the stage for a vibrant gathering:

 4:15 PM: Young local fiddlers kick off the event with energetic, traditional tunes at La

Baguette Music Cafe.

 4:00 PM – music and refreshments at KS Wild headquarters

 5:00 – 5:30 PM: Elbow Room Taiko drummers bring a dynamic, rhythmic performance

(in the parking lot adjacent to the Ashland Yoga Center)

 5:30 – 7:30 PM: Jenika Smith & Simon Chrisman headline with folk tunes to close

out the evening at La Baguette Music Cafe.

Food, Drinks & Artisan Goods

Attendees can savor delicious offerings from Tacos Libertad food truck, Simple Café, Masala

Ashland Food Coop and artisan food makers including Southern Oregon Sourdough, as well as

sip on wine by Circadian Cellars at the Ashland Recycled Furniture, and mocktails by

Hummingbird Heart Co. in the lot near Fourth Street. A diverse selection of vendors will be on-

site, showcasing their crafts—including handmade jewelry, chocolate creations and more.

Supporting Sustainability & Active Lifestyles In celebration of Earth Day, local nonprofit organizations will be present to promote outdoor recreation and the beauty of our mountain trails. Community members are encouraged to explore, hike, bike, and embrace the joys of an active lifestyle, and have an opportunity to register for local races including the Siskiyou Outback and Mt. Ashland Hillclimb. Ashland Yoga Center will offer a mini outdoor yoga session, and an Earth Day Special for new students.
